On June 15, we saw the worst that some people had to offer. But we also saw the best from many others. Patient volume that night was three to four times greater than a normal Wednesday night. St. Paul’s Hospital treated 130 injured patients in a span of five hours thanks to the dedication of our paramedics and emergency room personnel, including many off-duty employees who responded quickly and came in for extra shifts. During one of our city’s darkest moments, the people of St. Paul’s Hospital were there for the people of Vancouver. Thank you!
If you’d like to take action, tell your MLA that St. Paul’s is an important resource that must be renewed to meet the needs of British Columbians for decades to come.
