Every year, St. Paul’s Hospital provides excellent and compassionate care to more than 380,000 patients from throughout B.C. – including many of our most vulnerable and marginalized populations – as well as world-leading research and medical teaching initiatives that benefit many more locally, nationally and internationally.

  • Renal (Kidney) Risks and Illness - St. Paul’s has B.C.’s largest comprehensive program for the treatment, management and prevention of kidney disease and failure. St. Paul’s performs 83,000 hemodialysis treatments annually at the hospital and six community dialysis units throughout the region – more than any other health provider in B.C.
